Hypnotherapy is a calm, guided process that helps you access the subconscious mind – the place where many of our patterns, beliefs, emotional responses and stuck feelings live.
In a hypnotherapy session, you remain aware and in control. You’re simply guided into a relaxed, focused state where change can feel easier and more natural than trying to think your way through things.
I offer hypnotherapy sessions across the UK and internationally via Zoom, as well as in-person in Chester and the surrounding areas.

People come to hypnotherapy for many reasons. Some want support with a clear issue, while others just know something needs to shift.

What a session feels like
Most people describe hypnotherapy as deeply relaxing – similar to that in-between state just before sleep, but with clear awareness.
You can expect:
- A calm conversation about what you want to change (and what you’re experiencing now)
- Gentle relaxation and guided focus
- Subconscious work tailored to you (imagery, suggestions, inner exploration, and emotional reframing)
- A smooth return to full alertness, with time to reflect and integrate
You won’t be made to do anything you don’t want to do, and you can speak at any time.
Can everyone be hypnotised?
Most people can experience hypnosis to some degree, especially when the approach is gentle and you feel safe with the practitioner.
Hypnosis isn’t something that’s done to you – it’s something you participate in. If you can daydream, get absorbed in a book, or drift away while listening to music, you already understand the feeling.

A deeper option: regression work (if it feels right)
Some clients simply want support with anxiety, confidence, or everyday patterns – and hypnotherapy is perfect for that.
Others feel drawn to deeper exploration. If appropriate, hypnotherapy can also open the door to Past Life Regression or Beyond Quantum Healing (BQH) sessions, where we explore subconscious imagery, memory, symbolism and inner experience in a more expanded way.
There is never pressure to go deeper – we will always move at a pace that feels right for you.
